We take our review processes very seriously to ensure the integrity and fairness of our trading platform. This payout request was rejected due to several significant concerns identified during a detailed review of the trading activities and associated interviews.

Here are the key reasons for the rejection:

1. Hesitation to Conduct an Automated Interview: We were in constant contact with this trader for the full 13-days, from payout request up until rejection. We had the trader conduct an interview, of which they seemed to delay for 5-days, blaming the interview link, until they were provided a final demand to complete it, they then completed the interview using the same link they had previously said was not working correctly.

2. Insufficient Interview Responses: The responses provided during the interview were significantly brief, under 60 seconds long with some answers being under 30 seconds long, and did not meet our standard requirement for comprehensive and well-elaborated answers. This level of detail is necessary for us to conduct a thorough examination.

3. Inadequate Trading Strategy Description: The explanation of the trading strategy provided was not detailed. Understanding the methods and logic behind trades is crucial for us to ensure they align with our risk management protocols and to verify the trader has conducted the trades themselves.

4. Inconsistent Strategy Explanation: There were instances where the trader's explanation of their trading decisions was unclear and inconsistent. Clear and consistent articulation of trading strategies is essential for our evaluation.

5. Irregular IP Activity: Security protocols revealed irregular activity concerning the IP addresses associated with the account, which alternated between the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom. Using our tools we confirmed that these IP addresses were not linked to any known Virtual Private Network (VPN) providers, raising concerns about their legitimacy. Our risk management team concluded that the trader was highly likely providing unauthorised access to their trading account to someone within the United Kingdom.

6. Unprofessional Correspondence: A review of recent correspondence with our senior staff found the tone and content to be inappropriate and contrary to our expectations of professional conduct.

Due to these issues, our risk management team determined that our internal risk limits have been exceeded and are incompatible with our operational standards. Consequently, the payout request was rejected, and the trading relationship was terminated due to unauthorised access being granted to their trading account, this is in breach of our T&C’s and AML Policy.

The individual affected by this decision had already been fully refunded, plus an additional 25% of their purchase price, and had previously received a payout of around $3,000. Therefore, they are not financially disadvantaged as a result of this decision.

This termination is in full compliance with our Terms & Conditions policy.
